Timothy’s Corner Window: An Influential Blog
As I was checking my blog’s dashboard, I saw a referral to my blog by a good friend and fellow blogger John Paul Manahan. I checked out where it came from and, lo and behold, it was from a nomination post to the Top Ten Emerging Influential Bloggers of 2009 by www.influentialblogger.net.
Just today, I found my name in the nomination list for week three of the search. It only actually got one nomination, which was form JP, but still I find it an honor and privilege indeed for my 3-month old blog to be counted as influential in the blogosphere.
I never aimed for my blog to be A-listed. For me, blogging is just my way of sharing my persona to the world and by it making an impact, no matter how small or great, deliberate or accidental, to people who chance upon it. And more importantly, the blog is also my way of sharing my faith, convictions, and experiences as a person who lives of the grace of God, and by it be a channel of blessings to other people.
To all of you who grace my blogsite, thank you very much for making it a meaningful part of your web life. To the people, places, and experiences that have been the source of my blog stories, you may be either named or anonymous, but it doesn’t matter; thank you very much for allowing me to be the conduit of inspiration, wisdom and uplifting for other people.
To Chico Garcia, for the inspiration to be a blogger.
To Kristine Concepcion and Joe Lagon, my first visitors here, thank you for starting the spark.
To JP, yours maybe the only nomination I’ll get, but that’s good enough for me. At least I’ve made an influence, even to just one person.
To Timothy, always keep that smile for me until you’re a grown up ok?
Cess, this blog would be impossible without you.
And of course, how can I forget you Lord?
