Happy Birthday, Dyan!
This blog goes out to my ‘tol Dyan Dampal, my long-time childhood friend and classmate, who is celebrating her birthday today.
Me and Dyan all grew up together right from the the very beginning. We all ended up stuck with each other until our graduation from the Bible Baptist Educational Institute in ’96, where Dyan was class valedictorian and I was the salutatorian. Yes, we are proud honor students… of a class of five graduates! Hahahahaha!
Dyan, an IT Dean’s Lister from Asia Pacific College is one of the people involved in our Computer and Multimedia Ministry in our Church, she also helps me in preparing video materials for our church through our Visual Media Department. She is a member, like my very own Cess, of the House of Rhoda Young Professional Ladies’ Ministry also of our church.
I was actually planning of scanning our 12-year old yearbook and get her picture here as the official photo of this blog entry, but since the scanner’s not up and running, I posted the one you’re seeing now.
And, not to forget, she is a regular reader (and topic suggester) of this blog! I actually sent a greet for her over the Morning Rush during the 8:00 time check. Thanks to Chico and Delamar for the wonderful gesture! =)
And since it’s no more secret that you’re my batchmate, that brings your age to same as mine. It is, therefore, not a crime to say HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
My prayer is that God would give you good health, as well as the desires of your heart, as you continue top faithfully serve the Lord!
Happy birthday, tol!
