Forevermore: The Wedding Diary Edition (part 20)
12 days to go guys!
For today’s schedule, I’m set to pay the last half of the down payment for the house we will be renting. It’s a nice roof deck bungalow sitting on top of the fifth floor of the entire condo-cum-apartment. The place is still going through several renovations, but since we’re not planning to stay there longer than half a year, the landlady and I had an agreement as to which part of the house will be refurbished, and which ones will be allowed to stay as is. We’re eyeing a comfortable apartment just across the street of this place, which for the moment is being renovated. Once the place opens up, we’re taking it.
I also received word from one of our ‘friends’ that their gift is ready to be delivered. And in the tradition of ‘kris kringle’ gift giving, let me describe that gift as something big, comfortable, and good for two people. If you still have no idea what this something is, chances are you still sleep on the couch!
We’re also set to pay a part of the remaining balance for our reception. This gives me and Cess lesser expenses to think about. With this part paid, the only worry we have right now would be the possible additional tables that needs to be set up on the 21st.
I’ll be leaving for Tacloban on Saturday, and will be back on Monday. Hopefully, we can push through with our heart to heart counseling with our senior pastor upon my return that same day.
We also had a meeting with our organizers for the programme on the reception. I don’t want to spoil the fun and surprise, but if you’re coming to the reception, you’re in for a fun-filled time.
Well, that’s it so far for our Wedding in the Making. Keep in touch with us for more, as the Big W approaches!
